top shop opened inside of jonathan + olivia a couple months ago. i finally got a chance to check it out. i fell in love with this one-piece strawberry "playsuit" the moment i saw it. i've posted a few photos of it below- sorry that the quality isn't great and my room was messy at the time.

I began the idea of re-decorating my room in "shabby chic" decor. I picked up several small items during this time. Recently, I started searching for white distressed furniture to complete my room. During this search, I realized that, perhaps, shabby chic isn't all that I originally thought. I'm now looking into combining my all-white room accessories with more contemporary furniture. I've been collecting pictures (below) as a source of inspiration. If you click on the picture it will take you to the website where I found it.

beach

i didn't get around to posting anything this weekend- i was at the beach. now, i'm sun burnt. i suppose i may have been a bit over zealous while applying tanning oil. i blame it on my sun deprivation. i'm taking solace knowing that in a few days this is will be over and i will betanned. until then- i'll find myself wearing loose fitting clothing and walking around my house with a bottle of St. Ives moisturizer. i'm off now to get my eyebrows done- i think i'll wear the new black cotton dress purchases. it's nice and airy. until tomorrow, TCG.
