beach

i didn't get around to posting anything this weekend- i was at the beach. now, i'm sun burnt. i suppose i may have been a bit over zealous while applying tanning oil. i blame it on my sun deprivation. i'm taking solace knowing that in a few days this is will be over and i will betanned. until then- i'll find myself wearing loose fitting clothing and walking around my house with a bottle of St. Ives moisturizer. i'm off now to get my eyebrows done- i think i'll wear the new black cotton dress purchases. it's nice and airy. until tomorrow, TCG.

it's cold today

good morning all- well its morning for me at least- i just got out of bed. i'm waiting for water to boil and deciding between jasmine green or peppermint tea. not really sure what i'm doing today. i'm eating cantaloupe now. i wish the phone would stop ringing. i was up last night re-creating my header- very happy with the way it turned out. i've always been a fan of dark blue on pale yellow. i'll have some interesting pictures to post up throughout the weekend. i hope you all have a good one. new layout

i'm trying something new out- a more minimal, simple layout. i'm not sure if i like it yet. for those of you wondering, everything from the sidebar is now at the very bottom on the page. found there are links to my about section, flickr, polyvore, twitter, and e-mail. check them out if you havent already!!

quick update on me: school is finally over, now i can enjoy two solid months of relaxation. as for what to expect from this blog: many more posts and photographs. now that i have time i can do more fashion and "outfit of the day" posts. TTYS, TCG (that is- talk to you soon, the chic geek)

summer

i absolutely adore cupcakes! well, to be honest, i absolutely adore all sweets but there is just something about cupcakes that is treeees chic. i bought these at a tiny cupcake boutique in one of my favourite areas of the city. all i need now is a carmel macchiato and Wuthering Heights.

my exams are finally over- no more excuses not to blog. i'm looking forward the summer and being able to spend time relaxing with no school-related worries. TTYvery!S

apple pie

as most of you already know, father's day is tomorrow! this year, i decided to bake my dad his favourite dessert- apple pie. this is my first ever attempt at baking a pie. the crust was a bit tricky but, overall, i enjoyed making it.
